N3HS utilises the very latest technology to deliver maximum efficiency, resiliency and uptime, whilst keeping our carbon footprint as low as possible.

Our core infrastructure has been designed to achieve a target Power Usage Effectiveness rating of under 2 - the UK average data centre comes in at a PUE of 2.2. This has been achieved by carefully considering the cooling equipment, infrastructure layout and rack power density to create the perfect balance between power and efficiency.

Where technology has already been selected, N3HS' team of expert, friendly and devoted technical specialists are on hand to work with you to help deliver a more environmentally friendly solution. In turn, this helps reduce your costs and can allow for a greater capacity of service.

Network

We understand that maintaining a reliable network and ensuring capacity is vital to our clients, which is why we pay close attention to several key areas of the service you need:

Service Utilisation:
Service utilisation is monitored on a packet, session request and bit per second level to graph trends and ensure any growth towards service capacity can be responded to. Our facility is situated within a businessorientated, connectivity-rich area, allowing for easy provision of new fibre optic paths from tier 1 service providers.

Business Insight:
By gaining a complete understanding of your business model, new developments and planned projects, we are able to recommend the most suitable network resources and technical equipment for your requirements. Our technical specialists are always on hand to answer any network path or N3 specific questions.

Infrastructure Resilience:
At N3HS, we are always planning ahead. Our facility provides redundant cooling for hosted systems and network infrastructures, redundant power based on large-scale UPS battery backup and onsite diesel generator systems, and a secondary N3 presence. These features ensure the continued flow of data should a power, cooling or network path fault occur. To prove our designed-in resilience, we demonstrate it through strict regular testing.
